Announced August 23, 2007, Owens Corning has formed a collaborative agreement with Anutone Acoustics to promote jointly-branded, architectural acoustic solutions throughout the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation countries and the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The agreement, which combines Owens Corning's acoustic expertise and product portfolio with Anutone's extensive knowledge of acoustical sciences, the construction industry and regional markets, will focus on the development, promotion and distribution of Owens Corning acoustical systems for professional and public environments. These include offices, hotels, convention centers and entertainment venues like multiplex cinemas, nightclubs and sports venues.
Extensively tested to meet the highest specifications, the jointly branded SoundSoft Respond acoustical wall and ceiling panels, SoundStretch Eurospan wide span acoustical ceiling systems and the SoundSmart QuietZone noise insulation systems will lead this new portfolio of technically advanced solutions.
