Axia is a provider of a panel-based building technology for the rapid construction of homes and commercial buildings in Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan.

On August 16, 2007, Axia announced that MicroConstructions, its Sri Lanka subsidiary, has received a Letter of Acceptance to begin work on a new hospital project in the southern region of Sri Lanka. This award involves the refurbishment of an existing building and the construction of a new wing to the hospital. The project will provide a 50 bed hospital and has a total value of approximately $446,000. This is the first phase of a project with plans to potentially expand with further buildings later in the year.
