Bald Head Island is a boat-accessed residential and resort island community offering a ten-acre marina, championship golf course, vacation rentals, second homes and permanent residences in one of the East Coast's most pristine cape island environments.

Transportation on the island is restricted to golf carts, bicycles and pedestrian traffic. Of the island's twelve thousand acres, ten thousand acres of beaches, salt marsh, and maritime forest are protected and will remain undeveloped.
