In 1985, The Coffee Beanery had eight retail stores and began offering franchise opportunities. Since then, the company has expanded to over 150 locations worldwide. The company became international in 2001 with the opening of a master franchise in Seoul, Korea. In 2002, Coffee Beanery opened in Chengdu, Beijing, and Shanghai China, and in UAE, Bahrain and most recently in Cyprus.
