Promoted on August 6, 2007 near the beginning of the American Idol audition season, i-Sing is an interactive, handheld MP3-karaoke player that allows users to sing along to their favorite tunes, listen to top hits, and record their own voices all at the same time.

i-Sing users can create personalized karaoke files from their favorite songs of today. i-Sing enables music fans to add their own lyrics and to produce instrumental music. By eliminating the artist's voice track, singers can practice on their own instrument-only ballads.

Unlike the i-Pod, i-Sing displays lyrics on its screen and contains an internal speaker and microphone. Users first load songs, add lyrics onto the digital device, and then sing along wherever they want, whenever they want. i-Sing gives music fans the opportunity to create their own music, create their own album, and put their very own auditions on YouTube and MySpace.

Through voice reduction technologies, users can reduce or eliminate the singer's voice to create instrument-only karaoke music.

i-Sing is produced by Outrageous International.
