On December 5, 2007, Nujira announced the appointment of Jim Brewington as Advisor to the board of directors.

Jim Brewington has extensive experience of the global communications market, having most recently held the position of President of Developing Markets at Lucent Technologies. He played a fundamental role in building the Mobility business at Lucent and establishing its leadership in third generation technologies. Prior to heading Lucent's Developing Markets group, Jim served as President of the company's Mobility Solutions Group, where he was responsible for all wireless infrastructure for the mobility segment including global wireless development and product architecture, project management and business and product management. He began his career at AT&T in 1968, and over the ensuing years has held various executive management positions in the telecommunications industry, including overseeing Bell Telephone Wireless Laboratories. He is a past member of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) and the CTIA Wireless Foundation.
