On December 4, 2007, Access Sciences announced the appointment of Kathy Jordan as Director of ECRM Business Consulting. Jordan joined the Access team in 2001 and has consistently helped clients improve their information management programs during her tenure with Access Sciences. This position change will take effect January 15, 2008.
Jordan has been a major contributor to the success of Access Sciences since joining the firm. She has led teams at numerous companies across many industries including engineering and energy, as well as state and federal government agencies. Her project leadership endeavors include developing enterprise-wide functional classification schemes, retention schedules, indexing guidelines, metadata requirements, supporting corporate legal counsel departments, as well as mentoring and growing the skills of others.
Her primary responsibility as Director of ECRM (Enterprise Content and Records Management) Business Consulting is to lead a team of ECRM experts in analyzing, diagnosing and solving clients' ECRM Business needs. This practice will work in connection with the Enterprise Architecture and ECRM Technology practices at Access Sciences, along with their Legal Business Consulting practice. "Access Sciences is continuously evolving and making strides to better meet client needs. I am delighted to be a part of this dynamic growth," says Jordan.
Jordan received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Louisiana State University and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas. Jordan is a member of ARMA International (the Association of Records Managers and Administrators), where she has served on various committees and has presented at industry-related meetings and conferences.
