Lip synching contest

By July 6, 2007, hundreds of applicants had taken their lip synching skills to a virtual stage: UpStage by Samsung contest on YouTube. Samsung called on all budding rock stars to videotape themselves lip synching to the song Destiny Calling by Melody Club and post it on YouTube. The contest received more than six hundred entries and from those creative and energetic videos, the top twenty submissions have been selected.
Samsung paired the contest to the UpStage because of the phone's dual-sided design that optimizes music downloads over-the-air and side loading capabilities.
