Mark Eichenseer

On August 6, 2007, Verenium named Mark Eichenseer as Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Eichenseer joins Verenium with more than twenty years of experience in brewing and manufacturing from Anheuser-Busch, where he was a senior resident brewmaster and executive manager responsible for all aspects of plant operations for a ten million barrel brewery with over nine hundred employees. Mr. Eichenseer will assume overall responsibility for operations at Verenium's cellulosic ethanol production facilities in Jennings, Louisiana. His extensive background in process management, strategic planning, quality and production add significant depth and leadership to the company's expanding operations team. Mr. Eichenseer attended Illinois State University, where he earned a bachelor's in chemistry with a minor in math.
