On August 6, 2007, Verenium named Nell Jones as Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

Ms. Jones joins Verenium from Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), an advisory firm focusing on energy markets, where she served most recently as Vice President, Human Resources and Operations. As an experienced Human Resource executive, Ms. Jones brings over twenty-five years of experience building leading-edge companies in the technology sector. She is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and a member of the college's Board of Trustees.

In her role at Verenium, Nell Jones will partner closely with the executive management team and Verenium's Board of Directors to create and drive a results-oriented, performance-based culture; implement strategic human resources practices throughout the company; identify and develop unique talent; and align the organization in support of corporate goals to create shareholder value.
