ACM SIGGRAPH stands for Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics.

Announced August 13, 2007, ACM SIGGRAPH will mark its entry into Asia with SIGGRAPH Asia 2008.

SIGGRAPH 2007 brought twenty-five thousand computer graphics and interactive technology professionals from six continents to San Diego, California for the industry's most respected technical and creative programs focusing on fashion, research, science, art, animation, gaming, interactivity, education, and the web from August 5-9, 2007.

On August 6, 2007, Unravel was a living exhibition of fashion that features innovative and experimental works in computational and conceptual couture, socially conscious fashion, science inspired form, and new technology in textiles. Unravel brings together the works of international designers and artists who are seeking to redefine the notion of wearable. Fashion has been historically known as a form of personal expression. Unravel takes that expression to the next level by allowing the wearer to also interact with their environment. Examples: kameraflage and the solar bikini.
