I starting to get very upset with the Raleigh Bicycle company. It's good that they recalled the bicycles but when are they going to repair them?! My Raleigh Cadent has been back at the bike store for about 7 weeks now (today is 9/27/07) and Raleigh is not doing anything about the problem. I only owned the bike for about 6 weeks before the recall. I wish there was some lawyer out there that could sue them for me and everyone else that is being screwed by Raleigh. I don't even want the bike back at this point, I want my money back. Usually when there is a recall the company will either give you a refund or offer you a replacement product. Never again will I buy a Raleigh product and I hope everyone else will boycott them also.

I bought a Raleigh Cadent July '06 and have had 2 spokes break on the front wheel and one spoke break on the back wheel. I have owned many bikes and I have never had a spoke break. I did not know about the recall until I Googled it. Thanks Bill and Gene. Buyers beware!

I puchased one Venture 3.0 bike No.14-46-255, Serial No.U5YK44732, and one No. 14-46-256, Serial No. U58K16657. Both units have serious spoke breakage problems, the spokes break while the bike is not being used, just sitting in the garage, I have had to replace one complete wheel, this appears to be a warranty problem, please advise
