On August 1, 2007, Sedona Rouge announced that Teri Bibb, the award-winning Broadway star, will bring her thrilling lyric-coloratura soprano to the red rocks of Sedona in celebration of the hotel's second anniversary. The celebration will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 beginning with a cocktail reception on the hotel's observation terrace overlooking Thunder Mountain, followed by a fine three-course dinner and wine pairing. Teri Bibb and pianist Brett Strader will entertain guests following dinner.
Bibb played Christine in "The Phantom of the Opera" more than 1,000 times on Broadway and with the national tour, including command performances at the White House for Presidents Clinton and Bush. Carnegie Hall and London's Royal Albert Hall are among the many national and international venues she's played, in addition to her performances for film scores and on television. She has been honored with both the Helen Hayes Award and the Carbonell Award. Acclaimed pianist and conductor Strader, whose choral and instrumental works have been performed extensively in the United States and overseas, will accompany Bibb.
