Tsakos Energy Navigation's proforma fleet consist of fifty-two vessels of 5.6 million dead weight tons. Today TEN operates a fleet of forty-three double-hull vessels. Additionally, its newbuilding program of nine vessels includes six Aframax crude carriers, two Panamax tankers, and one Handysize product carrier representing 815,000 dwt.
The strategy of a balanced diverse fleet is reflected in twenty-seven crude transporters ranging from VLCCs to Aframaxes and twenty-four product carriers ranging from Handysize to Aframaxes; complemented by one LNG.
