Turner Construction Company is the leading general builder in the U.S., ranking first or second in the major segments of the building construction field. During 2006, Turner completed $8.6 billion of construction. Turner is the only builder offering clients a nationwide network of offices across the U.S. Founded in 1902, the firm is a subsidiary of HOCHTIEF, one of the world's leading international construction service.

Announced July 25, 2007, Turner Construction Company was selected by the Marathon Development Group to serve as the general contractor for the $180 million residential Granby Tower in Norfolk, Virginia. When complete in November 2009, the 1,000,000-sq.ft., mixed-use complex of luxury condominiums, offices and shops will be home to over 500 residents and merchants. The 31-story tower will feature over 300 residential units, 13,000-sq.-ft. of retail space and a six story parking garage.
