Miss Geico at SBI Sarasota, July 2007

Michigan is the land of the super-powered, turbo-charged unlimited hydroplane -- a fast performance boat that whips across the water at top speeds. During the weekend of July 27-29, 2007, St. Clair fans will Miss Geico, the world's fastest offshore boat, churn the city's river.

Miss Geico, capable of reaching top speeds of more than 180 miles an hour, is propelled by turbine-powered engines -- the same ones that saw victory in the Gulf.
